thank you for breaking me –

it forced me to inspect and

love upon and heal

all my bits and pieces

before putting myself back together again.

A.P. Bastian is a survivor of loss and a befriender of grief. A native Brazilian, she moved to the United States in 1998 completely unfamiliar with the English language.
